As the topic reads im debating about doing an install in the near future, my current setup is uprated speakers (infinity kappas) powered by a 4channel amp (300w alpine) and a head unit that plays anything (with the option on adding a Iriver). My system is very loud to the point of deafness.

The 6x9's in my setup are 330w and the fronts are 225w with both thier norminal outputs are the 100w so bass wise very punchy.

Has anyone else sub'd thier car is thier going to be any difference? Also I do not want my car to sounds like a chav mobile. Thanks guys

Ever since I first put a sub in to a car, Ive not been able to cpoe with out one.
I would say to anyone thinking about it - do it.
you will notice the difference, and if you set it up right you wont sound like a chav.
I found the sound proofing in the coupe to be very good, didnt get any rattles outside and at normal driving volume the passer by would be none the wiser.
