Having planned for the eventual failure of one of my headlight bulbs I've always kept a spare in the glovebox. Imagine how pleased I was when both headlights went within 24hrs of each other! Damn you fate!!

Anyway I have a question. Having replaced both bulbs I have noticed that, possibly due to the cold spell, one of the headlight globes has cracked which is affecting the refraction of the light and dazzling everybody. Does anyone know if it is easy to replace these? Do you take the highlight off from the front or from inside? How much do they cost to replace?

No idea how easy they are to take apart, but someone has done an angel eye conversion on theirs. If it was me then I'd be onto www.breakersweb.co.uk or one of the others that are similar and that I can never remember the name of :roll: and get myself a replacement unit. Also they do appear on ebay from time to time.
