yes..... airbag light should flash for a few seconds when you switch the ignition on..... then go out.
sounds like your seller either disconected something or removed the bulb for the warning light, get it checked out and if he has..... report him to e-bay. they dont take to kindly to peeps on there selling stuff thats faulty, even though its just the srs system, he should of sorted it.
it could be anything making the light come on..... seat belt pre-tentioners, wiring, sensors or just the cpring type wiring to the airbag itself. #???
without it being properly checked out, i couldnt say, but it sounds like you need to get it sorted, those airbags could save your life one day.
