This is for a scorpion I think.

Reset the keyfob

* Put your key in the ignition and turn it to ACC
* Close all doors
* Hit the lock key on your key fob
* Take the key out
* Hit the lock key again - This should arm the alarm. Don't do anything dumb to set it off!
* Immediately hit unlock
* If your alarm responds correctly, then hooray for you, ya fixed it!
* Repeat for additional fobs

Can this be 'Stickied'?

Which alarm is the Scorpion one?
Mine is the square one on the piece of rubbish rubber strip, that snaps where it joins the keyring so you have to carry it separately from now on. :bang
The one with 2 buttons, one which locks AND unlocks the car so you never know if you just locked it or left it unlocked on Tesco carpark. The other sets the alarm off for some reason that only makes sense to Hyundai and you accidentally set it off some mornings and everyone thinks you're an a-hole :swear

how do you know if the alarm is working in the first place, ie got power and such? cos it never goes off and i can only open and lock the car using the key?
i took mine to a local hyundai dealer in gloucester and they said they couldnt help because it wasnt a standard alarm?
really wanna get this sorted out now!

might try that then. i push lock and the lights flash, so i test the doors out of habit, to find they are unlocked and the alarm goes off!! WTF?!
