I've read elsewhere here that the remote entry receiver is a black box normally fitted under the dash on or near the steering column.

I've also read they were fitted to all SE models..?

Can anybody here show me what this receiver looks like and where it nests in amongst the wiring under the dash?

For the life of me, I've not been able to locate it so far...

I've taken some snaps this afternoon to see if anybody can point out where the receiver should be in amongst all the spaghetti









So, any ideas folks?

wouldnt it be the "control unit immobilizer" on the first picture? Not sure.....

I didn't see any antenna sticking out but I'll have another look in the morning

yes thats it the aerial is probably on the end you cant see i do remember it being a bug*er to get out and the trick is to only put it back with the bolt that you can get to easily.
