Hi Guys,

Ive been having some problems with my drivers window ever since it got cold and snowed. Basically the window goes down when i push the switch, however it kind of jerks its way down or sometimes seems to get stuck. When i try to put it back up it either wont work at all or it slowly jerks its way back up. Other times it all works just like normal!

When the window goes down and gets stuck down i can pull it up with my hands and it slides up a little, the switch then works to pull it the rest of the way up?!

I havent got a clue about things like this so any help would be appreciated!

Cheers

Sweet cheers.

Is it a case of taking door panel off and switching them over? Im guessing its gunna be a bit more complex than that!

Hi there,
I have ordered one of these last week (see my post in the ebay section) and am expecting it in the next week or so.
Depending on how it goes, I will try and get some pictures of the changeover.

Hello, Newbie here. Have Gen 3 (02) with passenger window that won't open. The switch clicks but goes nowhere. I checked out the switch with a meter and all seems OK so have to take the panel off and look inside. Are you aware of any guides on what is likely to be wrong and how to get the panel off?

Hi,
Here are a couple of DIY how-to's about window motors that I have found on the New Tiburon forum:

Window motor - http://www.newtiburon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90341
Window regulator - http://www.newtiburon.com/forums/showth ... p?t=124796 (this has clearer photos)

I am not able to change the window motor and so have booked the car into Sharky's workshop to be changed (as well as replacing the duff indicator relay in the BCM).
I asked Sharky if he would mind taking some photos of the motor changeover so that a Step by Step guide can be created for us.

Sharky replaced the window motor & took some photographs while he was doing it.
He is well busy & so it may be a while before he can do anything with them.
