Couldn't find anywhere other than here to post this question so I apologise in advance if it should be elsewhere...
Anyone ever owned a Kenwood KDC BT8041u head unit?
I CANNOT for the life of me set the clock on it.
It's been bugging the hell out of me for ages and all the other site forums to do with this either want to charge you an extortionate fee for someone in 'tech support' to answer your question, or you get redirected to a Kenwood .pdf manual (which is also as much use as a chocolate kettle).
Anyone?!

I've got the newer 8044u unit.

To find the clock adjust, in the menu on standby, turn OFF auto adjust 1st. you'll then find the clock/date menu to change it. you can then turn back on auto adjust if you want.

Extra tip. tune your radio to radio 1 :shrug then change back to cd. it'll adjust the time for you after a few minutes. :thumbup

Ta for that. Already downloaded the .pdf for it and tried what it said, I can get to the clock adjust display but it won't let me change the values. Will try look for this Auto Adjust function in a bit.
Failing that I have to try and find my aerial which just had to take off.
Radio1? ((shudder)) God this is gonna get messy
