Simple question, my coupe 1.6 GEN3 has fog lights, how the hell do I turn them on!

Usually the switches to the left of the clock. There should be 2 blanks to the right where the heated seat switch WOULD be if the UK had them

The side lights need to be on too. The rear fog lamp is self cancelling (i.e. turn the lights off and the rear fog goes off) which, i think, should be an MOT requirement now, given the number of w*****s that drive around with their rear fogs on for weeks after one morning of light fog, the t**ts....

The side lights (or headlights) need to be on in order to use the frount fogs, and the low beam (or high beam) needs to be on in order to use the rears.

Ah see i very rarely use the fronts as its the rears that do the real safety work.

Not relevant to the OP but:

For anybody with a gen 1 or 2, if you leave the rear fog lights on and switch off the lights the light buzzer will sound when you remove the key and open the door. These models weren't self cancelling

on mine one fog dosen't work without the other. i think if you only have the side lights on, then the front fogs have to be on for hte rears to work. somethin like that.

On the megane the fronts have to be on then you can turn the rears on.
