Hi i have a gen1 and need to change the sidelight bulb. trouble is, the old bulb is in a black plastic holder and i cant get it out its stuck fast, has anyone else had problems with this, how do i get it out of the holder , without damaging the wires. does it just pull out or have i missed a clip or am i meant to squeeze the bottom etc? any help would be appreciated.

I think they kinda pull out of the holder - the bulb has a sort of 'crimped' flattened bottom with the filament contacts either side.

yep - or to make it easier the sidleight is held in with a phillips screw - take that out and take the assembly out (disconnect wiring first) it makes it alot easier when you can plonk it down on the table :thumbup
