Hi guys.

I'm thinking of getting a set of these from halfords:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... 65688#dtab

what I want to know is how easy is it to take the lens off the headlights to fit them in? I've got my lights tatlocked so I know how to physically take the lights out. Also what connections do I need to wire it to the sidelights?

Regards
Adam

I 'm guessing you've got a gen3. If so, these won't fit inside the headlights. They're isn't enough room between the light internals and the lens. Sorry to rain on your parade, but I've tried this before and it just doesn't work. Don't waste your money. If you still want to give it a go fitting them somewhere, don't buy them in halfords. I got mine for about 15 quid on ebay

I cut sections out of my front bumper and flush mounted the led sttrips there. I have them wired up as fog lights

if you wanted them as DRL i would make your own wiring up direct from the battery, with a fuse to a switch inside so they can be turned on and off independantly of the lights.

I just thought they would look good inside the lights.

Just don't do it, it will look gash in my opinion. The angel eyes that some of the guys on here have look good. If you don't fancy angel eyes than seriously leave them as they are.
