Hi guys,

Got bought a Sony MEX-BT3700U for xmas. I've got a kenwood stereo in the coupe at the moment and I'm not sure if this would be factory fitted or not I guess not? I've taken it out and the connector is nothing like will fit in the sony one and I don't think the harness adaptor the halfords website recommends will fit either? Can anyone advise on the best thing to do?

Regards

Adam

me personally? i'd cut the loom and get some bullett connectors or a soldering iron out.

the one for the speakers should fit? mine does i went from kenwood to sony then to alpine.

the pic on the site may be a standard one .

I got the one a couple of models down last year and the guy that fitted it had to get the halfords adaptor.
I don't think they would of changed the sockets since mine.

Hello, what if you take your unit to Halfords with the connector on it they may have a connector for your car or see if they have anything in stock that you can use.

BTW I have not been here for a while I was Chass on the old site but cannot get my old name back.
All the best
Chass ( Philip )

Hi all,

Thanks for the replys. I went into Halfords for some advice and they do fitting for £9.99 so I've booked it in for Sunday!
