headlights adjustment (low beams)

i would like to know how to adjust the low beams a bit higher ...on a gen1

put the switch to "0"

don't adjust them unless you realy know what you are doing as you will end up gettin pulled by the police when (not if) you dazzle them and end up with a £60 fine and 14 days to get it sorted at garage and proven. come mot time time they will either fail it if they can't get the beam pattern in the measure, or if they can they will just lower it back to normal height again anyway. your best bet is to go to a MOT place and explain to them what the problem is and what you want and ask them to check it. shouldn't cost you more then £10

or put a cow in the boot to weigh the back down

but +1 to above post, dont fiddle with it yourself. Is it the fact you might want brighter bulbs? have you tried the extra bright +90% things? Others have reported good outcomes

i have Philips DiamondVision and the light is great ....but the beam is not long enough ...despite the fact i have a "cow" in the back ...

Well if the laws are different to UK ones, why not get some HID's?
