Help. Alarm

Can any one help me. I have just replaced the battery in the remote central locking key fob on my 2000 2.0l SE Coupe but now it will not work. The dealers have said if you bring the car and the key fob they will sort it out. How can i if i cant start the car as the imobilizer works off the alarm.

I am sure you can re-sinc the key fob, any one any ideas.

After phoning 6 Hyundai dealers who all said :fingers

"You will have to have you car towed in along with the master key for re-programming" :fingers

If your like me and are in the AA or RAC my membership doesn't cover for home start, but if i pay an extra Â£65.00 they will come out. So it would of cost a minimum of Â£100.00 for towing in and re-programming. When you can do it yourself for free in less than 30 seconds.

All you have to do is hold down the two buttons whilst next to the car for 10 seconds, this resets the key fob and then works again.
