got a gen 3 coupe last weekend & everything is great apart from 1 thing, the fishing rod on the back!!!

it comes up when im listening to cds aswell as the radio (i no it needs to 4 the aerial, surely not for cds), is this normal as the gen 2 i had before never did, only when the radio was on.

can these aerials be removed & replaced with a short/stubby 1? if they can, how easy is it 2 do and has any1 got a guide to doing this?

you dont need a guide its very easy
get a pair of needle nosed pliers insert in top of ariel(when its down) and turn until undone

remove boot parcel shelf,and the boot liner and sides to the left,by undoing the plastic bit that holds the net and several screws and push in holders etc.you can now see the ariel
undo electric plug,and the (i thinks its) 2 bolts and just remove.job done.

BUT

you would need to buy a standard ariel and put that in,then buy a stubby

while im on here, passenger window doesn't go down, drivers side does. switches click but nothing happens. is this the switch or the motor or is it something else?

could be either.switches are cheap but so are motors.we had alot of switches go just lately but also motors are always going.dealers arnt expensive for switches..............il find you a motor link
