Currently looking to get a new headunit, may ask Santa, see what he can sort me with :lol

There's presently a fairly decent Clarion in my Coupe, however it's plain ol' CD's, nothing fancy. My previous car had a cheap-ish Sony, which played MP3 discs and also had a front 3.5mm aux input, which was nice, I'd like something which can charge and play stuff from my iPhone though.

I've no brand loyalty, so will consider anything, however the Clarion CZ509ER caught my eye as fulfilling most my needs/wants. It's currently about £170 which is what I'd be looking to spend.

Anyone had experience with this unit, or think there is a better alternative?

Alpine ida-x300 or x001 if its purly iphone/ipod music. Blue is the best colour IMO
If always gone for solid state music, moving parts in a car doesnt work too well.

is a good unit, actually you cant go wrong with a pioneer and there are plenty for the same or less than the clarion ()

Just an update, decided to plonk my cash on the Pioneer DEH-P7100BT. (Info ).

And after some quick email negotiations with Santa, he agreed to foot the bill, but that of course means I don't get my filthy paws on it until Christmas day. :lol
