even the car pc isnt the ideal solution.. (I took mine out as it wasnt as useful as it was gimmicky)

have you thought of getting an aux cable for the ipod? if you just want to wack random you can just plug the aux into the headphone socket and it'll play that way.

Ok just created 4 play lists to accomodate 255 tracks each apart from the last one which is only 158... Guess what the radio will only pick up the last play list I've pressed the next disc button and it says load cd...

I'm doing alot of driving thru europe this weekend and really dont wanna be stuck listening to european radio lol

i have a belkin bunebase plugged into the ciggerate lighter and it works brill!and it chargers it too! never heard of this prob before with headunits/ ipods

Trouble with FM transmitors in the UK they are ok because there is one channel you can generally stick to however over the weekend and next week I'm driving europe a lot and will end up constantly having to change chanel (talking from experience)

However I've actually managed to sort my head unit, I split the tracks up into 3 playlists but the radio only picked up the last one.... .bummer... well i grabbed my sisters ipod connected that up then plugged mine in the radio must have rescanned and picked up the other 2 play lists.. and on random it plays all 3 play lists whoop whoop, no european radio stations for me

there was one that my parents used to listen to when we were on the mainland was nostalgia.......i can still hear the jingle........nuuuu....stalll ........geeee......aaaaah!!it was woeful!

weve ditch the ipod nothing but trouble since we bought it,gone down the route of buying new head unit with a usb port and put all the music on a flash drive much easier and takes up less room and no wires the bizz
