had a go at setting my alarm to beep when my lights flash (as mentioned in a previous thread by lots and lots of you), the LED inside the car flashed the correct amount of times that i wanted it to, but when i turned ignition off and locked and armed the alarm, i had no beeps, just the click of the lights flashing, bearing in mind my siren could very well be dead, as enzo has sent me a new one. how would i test my siren is dead? can only find the fuse for the horn see. Also, any ideas on how to fit the siren? is mine encased in black casing located inforn of passenger side rear wall of engine bay??

really wanna get this new siren fitted and have the beep beep thingy on locking, as its a pain on a sunny day and raining

The oem alarm doesnt beep when locking and unlocking.

To test the alarm just press the small button on the remote as it will set off the alarm.

You will need to remove the protective cover on the firewall to get to the siren.

If your siren is dead you wouldn't know if it worked or not, but by setting off the alarm you would find out

Once you know if it works or not, then try the 'No beeping alarm' FAQ again

Actually saying that I'm not sure the noises both come from the same place. They sound very different. Will have a poke around under the bonnet in the morning for you
