Has anyone fitted any??? just wondered if anyone had any ideas for locations for them or anythin, i think the back of the car deserves to be lit up aswell as the front haha

bmw used to make some nice rear reading lights on the old fives that pitted on the rear pillars,a well placed dremel and a few wires......................

yeah was thinking under the seats or in the pillars like in some BMWs like Daz said!that would get my vote!

if you cant find something on there which will do what you need.. you're not looking.

cant you get a normal map light from another car that has the rear lights, and extend the wiring from the front under the roof lining to about 3-4 feet back?

It would involve cutting a hole for it in the roof lining yes, but could give a factory finish look

right i think it'll be 3 boot lights, one in the quarter card and one on the back of the center console, then underseats and odd ball LED's :-) will keep updated on progress.


While im here, i've got a pair of amped infinity 6x9's and 2 10" subs in sealed boxes and standard speakers at the front (polk audios waitin to go in) is 128db a good figure to have from that???

That sounds like a good light set up.

128db, should be more than sufficient, I was at a party the other night and the disco sound was registering at 106db at the back of the hall.

bloody hell not bad then, will be interesting when the comps go in :-) what are the competition sound levels???

would that be the only real problem the windows then?? or would the panels shake themselves of their clips???
