Right, my fob is working fine now on my 2002 coupe gen 3 v6, the indicators flash, the central locking works etc, but my alarm does not soun, its very very very faint, even though the lights flash, looked for a fuse for siren today, couldnt find one, anyone know where it is? i found the horn fuse, thats fine, and where is the siren located, is it infornt of passenger side behind the engine mounted at the back?? anyone know how i can test my siren etc to see if i need a new one?

If you have the same alarm that hyundai rushed to replace, you may be out of luck. They were horribly unreliable and was replaced under warranty.
You may find its just the siren (which is on the passenger side bulkhead under the black cover) There was someone selling the bits in the for sale section but im not sure if they are still available.

well, scorpion finally emailed me back and here is their reply:

''The Part you require is a GC1012sgd it comes complete with new ECU 2 remotes and pin override card it will cost you £100 plus vat and carriage it just plugs in you can order by phone on 01257 249928 select the sales option please note there is a 2 week lead time''

so, if i buy this part its a direct replacement, BUT, with 2 new ECU remotes, will i have to take it to a dealer to have reprogrammed??

Not majorly bothered as car garaged every day and night, but would be nice to know alarm works loud.
