I am going to install the remote door locks, from a 1999 hyundai coupe, so that it is gen2. I've got a 1996 gen1, so I hope I'll work. Looks like both door are having a servomotor so that it's going to be easy. Do I need to change the ETACS, or mine will be OK (I've got power door locks already, but operated by the key, not remote.)? They looks similar, but the connectors looks bit different :( The Remote Control Unit & Immobilizer module under the steering wheel column is almost the same as mine, but the one with remote is with aerial and has a SET/OFF button.

So what shall I do with that? Don't say throw it from a rock.. :b

Thank you for your tips mates! I tried to ask at czech hyundai club forums but nobody knew
