i got a piece of wire and switch and locate the arial wires in the boot (left hand side under trim) cut on piece of wire and attach long wire and insulate.

feed the wire to the centre consol and attach a switch in desired place and connect.

then you have a switch on your big ugly arial so you have the option to up or down ,

worked a treat for me especialy when playing cds

I just turned off the TA on mine which stops it coming up when using the CD player.

Indeed - the aerial only comes up when radio reception is required i.e. listening to the radio or it sat detecting traffic announcements.

Nick, if your aerial was coming up with the CD on, yet TA off, then it's likely it's been wired to the amp control output (high whenever the stereo is on) as opposed to the aerial control output (high only when radio reception is required).
