Changing gear knob..

I would like to change the gear knob on my F2 Evo as its become a little worn (yellow colour)

1. How do i get it off ?

2. What's a good replacement ?

I like the momo ball shape one's will they fit ?

Hi mate, it should just unscrew in a anticlockwise motion, unless it's an aftermarket one. If this is the case, there will be 3 allen key screws at the base of the gear knob which are covered by a plastic cap (makes up the bottom part of the gear know and unscrews)

i replaced the gear knob on my last car and it wasn't particularly easy to get off - brute force won in the end though! good luck!

Think you could be right.....

It makes it look a lot better if i shortern the shaft so i think thats what i'll do...... :cool:
