Well as some of you may no it was my birthday last week, so! with the money i was given i got my new double din headunit, and fitted my ps2 slimline into the car!

All works great, its a touch screen 7" removable screen. Has bluetooth, ipod control, sd read, dvd player, reversing camera, radio, aux input, usb input, video input, and i think there are a few more aswell! lol







The ps2 and convertor will be tidied up when i get a spare day, run the convertor onto the battery, and have it all fixed in and tidied up...

Bought it, took it outa the box, fitted it, hated it, put it back in, now selling it. (you get what you pay for eh? if you know what i mean, and i know you do since you bought it through BST.......... hmmmmm)

Ohh is it? What removable face aswell? Aghh i suppose i prefer mine a bit cus i got the gaurantee its brand new with all the warranty and can take back or ring if theres any problems etc...

your inverter is overkill for the ps2 mate, ps2s are i believe 8v so you dont have to get an inverter to pump up to 240 to be reduced down... look into it it'll save your alternator a bit

was it easy to install....i know it doesnt have sat nav included but it does mention it so can you buy like a GPS module and run that through it?

Yea im guessing thats how they would do the gps thing Smith, i need to look into it.

And fitting was a doddle, just used the old cage, modified it a bit and then tweeking... Wires are simple, basic wiring harness is plug and play, theres an ipod lead you just need to decide where you want it to come out, arial plugs in, and you need to earth the brake cable onto the chasis... Piece of cake mate!

And i have heard steve about digital multigauges, and it does seem cool. But tbh, im not missing them 1 bit.

And the slimline doesnt get that hot, i leave the glove box open mind, so dont no about shut. I will test this tho!
