i've heard of the first 2 things but the 3rd i've gotta say is a new one on me, the airbag light can be switched off at a dealer but to do this the car needs to be plugged into hyscan and this will indicate any faults with the airbag, if there is a fault with the airbag unit then the light will come on but normally they detect voltage drop and this switches the warning light on. The dealer will prob charge around £25 for this service or if you know the dealer then they may not charge.
As for the clock, it's a common problem for these to break down and to replace this you have to remove the dash board section around all the speedo etc.. to get to the clock and then it's a couple of screws and a plug to replace, it's a real long winded job and i think a new clock is around the £50 mark.

thr pics below will give you some idea of what you have to do to get to the clock.

get the airbag light sorted at the dealer and the clock just dont bother with it what so ever replacing it will have no effect and i believe costs 60 to 90 quid its a very common fault, also the doors locking themselves on a gen 1 is also very common just never leave your keys in the car and shut the door especially if enine is running if needs be just wind ya indow down thats what i do.
there was some 1 on here who left it running in a garage and door locked itself but i cant quite remember who it was lol.

did same with Skoda Estelle, had to walk two miles to find wife at the dentists for spare key. Got back an hour later and the rear screen heater was on..red hot glass. An old lady told me I was very inconsiderate leaving it running all that time!! Had v.noisy rally exhaust.

Once left the same car with the door wide open (seatbelt blocking the lock) while I went to the library. When I came back I thought some scally had nicked the stereo but then saw the buckle in the way. You could probably leave that car with all the doors open for days. I mean open.
