I recently fitted a set of LED chrome side repeaters bought from PC - they were very simply to install into my Gen 3. No soldering required!

The old side repeaters are removed by sliding an old credit card between light and wing (to release the plastic clip). Then just disconect the electrical plug.

Twist the bulb holders 90 degrees in the old side repeaters, and then extract the bulb. Retain these old bulb holders as they will be used on the new repeaters.

Warm the new side repeaters with a hairdryer as the bulb holders will be held in place with a small amount of silicone/epoxy sealent. Remove the new bub holders (although there is no bulb!) where the bulb should be is a very small cuircuit board which slides in to make to make contact with the terminals that the bulb once did. Slide this tiny circuit board into the old bulb holder, then place all into the new side repeater. Use a small amount of silicone sealent around the bulb holder to stop water getting in. Then replace the unit back in the car (making sure you conect the elctrical plug).

Repeat on the otherside.
