I have an 02 Hyundai Coupe FX (an import from southern ireland) and the front pads need replaced. What I want to know is will the SE front brake pads fit or will I need to find specific FX ones?

SE pads will be fine mate, SE=FX - the only diff. between the models, IMO, is the badge on the boot and trim :thumbup

Cool lads, thanks.

Its just I got the timing belt replaced about 7/8k miles ago and I had to get an FX specfic one and didnt want to order pads for the same to happen again!

Thats interesting - could you give precise details of your Coupe. Need:

year, cc, gen (or a pic ;) ) and engine type if known - Beta engines have the oil filler cap near the timing belt, Alphas have the filler cap near the battery.

FX just refers to the trim etc.
