My brother had a bit of an incident in his Coupe over the winter and buckled a wheel beyond repair. He's tried at the dealers and on the net to find a replacement but no-one does them. It seems that the wheel is relatively rare? It's 17" and attached is a photo of the model of wheel (from this advert: http://www.desperateseller.co.uk/findac ... d=18879081).

Any ideas on where he can try? Are there any Hyundai specialist breakers that are worth trying?

Thanks!

You'll have a job getting one of those, they were a £1000 upgrade option on the gen 3, quite hard to come by these days, may be cheaper/easier to buy a whole new set of wheels I'm afraid. Keep checking ebay, but it's unlikely if you do come across any that the person selling would split the set

I've got those wheels and they are rare. Last time i saw any on ebay was around September when I managed to pick up a set. There was 1 seller on ebay who was selling refurbed wheels individually, but haven't seen any for ages.

Good luck though!

I think I may have found a shop which sells these new

Now that listing shows 4 stud, but the description says they have 5 stud too. May be worth calling them.

Cheers for the help and advice guys. Since he had to get his car on the road again, he's opted to buy 4 other wheels and get the tyres swapped over. Of course, now he's got 3 good examples of the rare wheel which he might as well sell. Given their rarity, I wonder whether there'd be a market in selling each one individually to people who already have these wheels and would like a spare (which I bet he wishes he'd had!). Any ideas on what a single wheel would be worth? Thanks.

Only having 3 wheels selling them individual is the only way to go, as for value you no how ebay works (if you go down that road) one day it will fetch a fortune and the next day a big fat zero the trouble is if you need one desperatly like your brother did you would pay strong money but people who have 4 good ones will buy an extra one as a bargain but would not be prepared to pay buy them at a premium and as there cannot be loads of people around with them as someone pointed out an exspensive option I wouldn't start rubbing your hands together just jet but wish you all the best in hopefully getting decent money for them
