does any of you mates have pictures of gen 3 coupe on 18" alloys without lowering? i´m considering to go for 18 inch but dont know if car looks stupid for that optic illusion, that comes when sidewall of the tire gets thinner.. if you got before and after pics on 18" (lowered/vs standard) that would be super!!!

thanks a lot guys! it looks better than i thought without lovering :) some cars IMO look real stupid without lovering if wheels are big and it´s not lowered, but offcourse you can´t go wrong with coupes. sorry for my lack of faith:)

Mine hasnt been lowered either and those are 18"s..... doubt i will lower it to save from catching the arches etc.(Ninos told me the ins and outs)... opens up a world oo problems,... i remember from my last car. more hastle than it was worth.

Seen a few coupes with 18" and not lowered, and yet to see one which doesnt look good

ninos; that is one wicked looking coupe! really like those chrysler 300c style alloys! it really dont look offroad vehicle like some cars tend to do with 18"

i´ve been considering these wheels, in 17" or 18"

hey, now as you say it it´s true, they really look like M3 wheels. maybe i´m "bimmer" man after all.. NOT. that porsche on the pic above looks less sporty than coupe, if it only was RVD like germans pride :)

is normal suspension, how should i put it; "in tune" with 18" wheels? i have noticed with some other cars that standard suspension gives floaty feeling with low profile tyres. but i guess thats not problem with coupe since it´s suspension is at least on par with GTI/hot hatch cars..

The stock suspension is well able to handle 18's. It can be a little bit more bumpy on bad roads, but not as harsh as most other cars with big wheels fitted.

As Ninos said; 17's will be a comfortable ride, 18's won't be much worse.

Porygon those wheels on the link look good, like some wheels of rwd german monster with at least 400HP :)

Angelus porsche is definately higher han coupe, l once parked next to it just to see a difference and judging just by the eye l'd say porsche is 10-15cm higher. Remember that roof top of the coupe is 133cm high, nissan 350Z is 132,5cm. My car was on stock height back than.
Stock suspension is good enough to handle bigger rims, l was drivingf for three years with 18" rims and no problems.

Sold my 18" rims and l will get 19" until spring time :) :)
This is a chop for now but will be a reality soon ;)

yea, they really are like straight from bimmer :D those 19" must look mean! it´s strange how big wheels are nowadays; when i started motoring at the end of the 80s, 15" was insainly big and really pain to house them into -73 rvd celicas et al :)

Cars with 100hp or a bit more were also considered very powerfull, but today big rims aren't that big anymore and average family cas have 100hp or more. Things change :D

Btw what are you doing in finland?
