have just ordered a replacement hub and bearing kit for my gen 1....before i install can anyone advise on how much of a bitch this is going to be to fit :rollin :shrug

the bearings I assume are for the back SO they'll be easy enough to do, they just slide on and off (pretty much lol) I know we swapped my rear bearing when I had hubs on the back in about fifteen minutes, the hubs will tkae you a bit longer to do but shouldn't be too bad a job ...

if you had discs on the back then the bearing would be a pain to do (I've done mine many times lol) as you have to have the bearing pressed in, but not a problem with hubs

just give it a day mate, best thing to do :)

yea i have disc brakes and was gonna allow atleast a couple of hours...screw it i done the gear box so this should be a walk in the park :lol

I've done the job twice bud, you have get that bearin in flat, I'd get a garage to do it if you can afford it as it really is a bitch of a job to do yourself

piece o pie mate.
14mm spanner off with the caliper big hub nut in the middle 32mm36mm? cant rem. disc off .
and reverse .
20mins. if you've done the gearbox you'll sinch this.

how awkward are they to get back on! saying that i did it on an unlevel drive on my own but meh!
