Allow 1.5 hours labour to change given no rusting to hubs.

Throw that at your local garage, then ask why its so much - seems to work wonders

I was quoted £75 for pads only on the front - thats fitted at National Tyres.

Found the pads on ebay for £28 and did it myself. Had to buy a torque wrench for the wheel nuts (just my paranoia) but all in all, cost me about an hours work and £48 total. As stated above, discs can be had for £70 odd and on the GEN3 they do just slide on and off the hub easily I think.

Having said that, I appreciate the fact that you dont want to be doing this job yourself - to be fair its a dirty one! But I`d try National Tyres and then Kwik Fit and trade one off against the other. You should be able to shave £100 off your initial price I`d say.

Failing that, it really is a simple job that any home mechanic can handle, so why not ask around your friends? See if they have a partner/dad/whatever who might do this for a few quid?
