I have a 1998 F2, and ive just purchased some g-Max 40mm drop lowering springs..

Does anyone know if they will rub with my car wearing 17" Wolfrace alloys?, The guy was selling them on Ebay as they DID on his 18's

Any feedback would be great..

Damo.

hi mate, now i may be wrong so please dont quote me on this but i believed that the F2 and the F2 evo where both 30mm lowered as standard?

if so you would only be gaining 10mm meaning on 17"s there would be no problem.

more than likley im totally wrong and its not lowered at all which i hope is the case as mine looks very high really but was told this by someone who used to work at hyundai (hees more than likley got it wrong and just the F2 evo is lowered).

any 1 help clear this up?

I think the F2 and Evo had standard height suspension, but different dampers?

I had 17" wheels and 30mm springs and was definitely lower than either of these.

Zoe's right, neither model was lower, i think the evo had better bushings on the dampers.

No it wasnt the F2evo was the exact same ride hight as all the others, NONE were fitted with sports springs as standard. As i said before the only change to any coupe was the bushings for the shocks on the F2 evo were uprated.

Dont give out miss information if you are not 100% sure please!!!
