right well, he obviously knows what hes on about lol!! because without insulting you guys on here that what most roadcars feel like compared to motorsport vehicles.

And what he said pritty much sums up what i was thinking, i think im going to have to source a quick rack with similar dimensional properties to be modified and fit that. i was just hoping someone had already looked into this area or there was a bolt on quick rack.

:lol yeah he tested the G50 at donnington park about 9 months ago..... equalled last years poll in it!

i guess with a good coilover setup and some other bits that could help - but i personally havent heard of anyone doing uprated racks - have a look on rdtiburon.com to see if they have

PM'd ;)

Also, on the gen 3 full lock to lock is 2.5 turns, i think this is the same on the gen 1 aswell. I think its mainly due to teh large steering wheel it feels like forever ;)

If its a rally project get in touch with a member called Sharky. From what Dupleman told me when i was planning F2evo cams in my Burgundy Gen1 (thought I was only one that colours so uncommon), he used to work for MSD, they built the F2 evos, and the Accent WRC's. As for extra power, the F2 is the same as the SE, but the F2 evo gets 15-20bhp extra from the Cams. Been told MSD used mitsibishi parts to get over 200bhp though, relaibly enough to consider using it in the road going F2 evo before hyundai told them they couldn't use other car makers parts.
As for handling, the battery at the back sound, good, you could also play with the co drivers seat, bolt it straight to the floor, no brackets, then move him back a bit for two reasons, firsty help with weight distribution and CoG, and secondly to give him more leg room. I'm assuming that you've already removed non-rallying things such as stereo and electric window? Have you removed all the wiring for these parts? Sounds crazy, but weigh all the wiring you remove togeather, and you'll be surprised.
