Just had four new tyres on my V6, went for the Toyo T1-Rs at £75 a piece fitted.

First time ive ever changed four tyres at once! When I got the car it had a mixture - three part worn and one pretty new but all different makes! The handling was fine and even better once I fitted my front strut brace BUT, now with these Toyo`s the cornering is superb and the ride so much smoother!

Just thought I`d give them a big thumbs up.

Have to admit I was hesitant as there are some pretty scathing reviews out there for the Toyos along with some good one too of course.

Mine are 215.45.17s and they look fantastic! Just gotta clean off all the gunk they used to fit them now

yes uve been told a few times that there crap in the wet, they wouldnt be £75 for me, ive got 225/40/18

Have to disagree, the TR1's are excellent in the wet and quickly around corners with it being wet or not. I live in the middle of nowhere in west Wales where there are mostly windy hilly roads, the TR1's stick like glue and ive never had any kind of loss of traction. I often have people in my car who are utterly shocked at the speed at which i am able to keep the car on the road, i know people with modded cars similar to the coupe and some coupes and some full on sports cars with just ordinary tyres and they have said they would never be able to do what i do, and that's down the the tires.

Ive tried lots of brands but the TR1's are the only good all rounder for all weathers (not snow or anything bad like that obviously)
There is only a very slight reduction of performance in the wet, hardly noticeable.

Its something like £105 a corner on 18" wheels, worth every penny.
