Ebay seems a goob bet actually - just emailed one of the stores & they agreed to let me have a full set of grooved ones (front & back) plus pads for £180.

Thats damn good. I think anyway.....

Just got to sort out cheapish fitting now then.

I got drilled and groved disks from eBay - £200. Took 9 hours to install due to my alloys being rusted to the stock rotor then the grub screws thread being rusted, needing to drill it out then brake the rust layer behid the rotor!
I made sure that mine had a two warrenty on the rotors and one year on the pads.

Ended up getting them from Brake Parts Superstore. I rang my insurer up the other day about getting a CAI & alloys fitted & mentioned the grooved ones & they didnt like it at all. They counted the grooved brakes as a performance upgrade & wanted to charge me extra for them! Even though they work better & therefore would help reduce the risk of crashing even more I really dont undersand insurance companies.

While on that note they also refuse to insure me with any of the mods I was thinking of doing & the referer they got wanted to charge £2000+ just for the CAI & Alloys so now I cant do anything to the car until next August & insurance is up for renewal.

Never go with Kwik Fit insurance - they were cheap but they are f***ing sh*t if you want to do anything to your car.

Anyway, I digress. Just need to find cheap fitting for these brakes now.
