Hi Guys

I have been through 3 sets of front tyres since october and im sick of paying a furtune for tyres i get my tyres done at the same garage becuase i know them, but i am looking for cheaper but half decent tyres, what price do you pay per tyre fully fitted?

Ive had the same toyo proxies tr-1's for 1.7 years on these wheels and i still have half the tread left.
fantastic grip, very low noise and not overpriced.

Three sets in under a year?

You doing a lot of miles? Had the tracking checked?

I don't know what you do to kill three sets of tyres in such a short time but low tyre pressures won't help.
It seems your rims (inside) are corroded due to the amount of water vapour in the air used to inflate your tyres causing corrosion and uneven sealing surface and these rims could do with re-finishing to provide a smooth surface for the tyre to seal against. This will assist in maintaining constant pressures.
You can help this by not using air and having your tyres inflated with nitrogen. Search this forum for "Nitrogen" to find my post and info on Nitrogen.

I bought a pair of these for the front - bit pricier, but by god are they fantastic tyres.

Came with virtually 9mm of tread, and handling is incredible. Tyre wear is also superb.

I did a search online as i was looking at pzero rosso's or Good year F1's (now GD3's I think)

I cant recommend these tyres enough. The got "which" best tyre by a huge margin.
