Evening, ive got a little problem with my Rota 18" wheels. All 4 of the wheels have a sort of "residue" on them, i keep my car clean but im sure its not soap residue.
IT looks a lot like veigns running along the affected parts, not sure of any other way of describing it, running my finger along the rim it feels smooth but a little bit raised.
Ive had these wheels for over a year and i would expect them to still be in pristine condition.

Any ideas anybody?

you havent used anything like wonderwheels o0r anything on them have you thats stronger than car soap?

Nope, i have some news on this actualy.

I contacted the shop that i got them off and they said the supplier was interested in giving me a new set as long as i could prove with pictures that i haddnt kerbed them. So i was asked to take a bunch of pictures and send them off, they are now in the process of deciding if they will give me a new set (i took the photos yesterday).

The shop was confident that i would get them replaced since they havent been kerbed and said usualy the supplier will only replace a set with its 1 year warranty, but its been 1.7 years with these wheels but they are still interested in swapping them.

I will be most happy if they do

The shop said i will get a reply in a couple of days.
