yea i think 30 is horrible feeling, like semi flat, i run 32 also!

Okay thanks for all the replies guys appreciatte that, can I just clarify with you all that we are all referring to 205/40/17 tyres and not just what ever size is normally fitted ?? only ask because from searching google on this very subject that are so many different views on this excat subject, a lot are saying with the lower profile tyre to deffinatly put more than 30-32 psi in a lot say nearer 40 would be better.

whatver I am running its obviously under inflated enough to cause the crackin to the sidewall, always put 30 in and in all honesty dont think another 2 psi on top off this would be enough to make a difference but will certainly give it a try and see how I get on.

yep 32 for 205/40/17's with me

205/40/17's 30psi for me, I guess its down to personal taste and/or tyres you have, some tyres can be royal animals at higher psi, and just dont hold the road, others will feel sluggish, a case of testing different pressures and see whats best for you.
