thanks for the advise guys. I'm really hoping it's not the caliper. I had a seized one a couple of years ago (the same one infact) and it cost the best part of 200 to sort.

Different garage this time so maybe it will be cheaper. If he comes back saying thats whats needed what would you say is a good guide price for that to be done, per caliper?

Mine faile its MOT for the same thing. Had to have a new caliper + and break pads (both sides) £115 fitted which i thought wasnt too bad.
