I am looking at getting the following....



And I know that there has been mention of needing to drill out some alloys because of the captive brakes on the Gen 1... A couple of Q's

1) (Unlikely) Has anyone had experience of these and do they need driling?
2) As this is ebay and this guy looks like just a reseller I'm guessing he won't do the drilling if required (I have asked the Q). How difficult is it to do, could it be done DIY or am I better getting a local tyre place to do it while fitting the new tyres?

it was so easy to drill... just make sure to check the mark up twice... i used a piece of hard paper and cuted out the centrum and wheel holes and then the holes for the bults and then marked that on the wheel...

i used a small drill 5mm and drilled 10cm and then a bigger drill that coverd the bult on the captive rotors ...

nothing hard at all to do... its alu wheels so its easy to drill in...

I have been in touch with POTN and they have confirmed there is no drilling required on these alloys for captive brakes. Time to order methinks!!!
