Lowering on 18" rims

Ok guys so I'd like to lower my gen3 30mm
My wheel size is 225/40(I think)r18
Has anyone tried this or knows if it is possible?

Yes, Macker had 18" wheels on his Gen3 after lowering it 30mm (May have been 35mm but not sure, check his garage) Some people say you need something like 3mm spacers though but don't think Macker put any on.

Only thing you might need to check is the offset eg 38 or 42 etc of the alloys. I only say this as mine needed a couple of mm grinding off the inside the wheelarch at the rear cos the tyres were rubbing on the outside when I went over big speed bumps. Fronts were fine.

With the TSW's no rubbing at all, with the Fox's it was minimal.

yeah i think its engraved on the inside / back of the wheel
