by Lewis_R (Posted Sat, 06 Feb 2010 17:09:08 GMT)
Just got my smoked lexus lights I ordered at least 6 weeks ago. It took an email for them to tell me it would be new year before they get more in, and this is February and I've just got them.

The products themselves were decent quality, however one of the screws on the unit doesn't extend out enough to screw into my car which is rather rubbish, although the other 2 screws are holding together ok. It didn't come with rubber seals either which I thought was a bit tight considering the £130 they cost and importance for them to be on the unit, but no biggie. £130 by the way is one of the cheapest prices I have sourced for them, so credit there. It's more the time I had to wait in order to get them that bugged me most (they are a pretty common enough mod and should have been in stock), but I wouldn't say I'm angry at it or anything.

4/10 Service.
8/10 Quality.
7/10 Value.

The other thing I ordered was K&N induction which to their credit arrived quickly (a week roughly), however the sticker on the filter quickly rubbed off and the intake tube had just a big enough diameter to squeeze on to my throttle body. Considering the price, I expected an easier fit and etched sign instead of a sticker on the filter. But that is probably K&N's fault and not the site.

9/10 Service.
6/10 Quality.
5/10 Value.

Overall the prices and service is inconsistent and certainly the prices for interior mods seem high (eg aluminium rings for vents, wheel caps etc) however the pricing may not vary between this site and others that much.

I'd probably order again, but I will be weary of what I get as a lot of people seem to be having some major issues with certain products, namely performance items. And the last thing I want is to be told I can't get a refund or have to use the refunded money on the site. That doesn't seem fair.

Read Main Topic
Sat, 06 Feb 2010 17:09:08 GMThttp://forums.hyundaicoupe.info/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20081#p247983Another 'T' badge question

by RazLDN (Posted Sat, 06 Feb 2010 10:17:15 GMT)
It's true. The real power comes after 5000 revs, but for somebody to say it's "rubbish" for motorway driving is insane! I drive on the motorway everyday to work and the experience is orgasmic. The 6th gear is for cruising, but if you're looking for that tsunami of power everytime you push the accelerator pedal, then the 5th gear is for you.

As for Petrol and Oil, like I said, It's a sports car so it's not supposed to be economical. The RX8 is about the rotary driving experience, not to help save you a few quid.
The coupe might have been 2 years younger and with a lower milage, but ask yourself this...Will it give you half as much fun as an RX8 when you throw it around a few corners? 50-50 weight distribution and not to forget, there's also the option to turn off the traction control

Read Main Topic
Sat, 06 Feb 2010 10:17:15 GMThttp://forums.hyundaicoupe.info/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=22154#p247929GEN 3 DASH QUERY
